Vesna ist eine mythologische Frauengestalt aus slawischen Kulturen, die für den Frühling steht. Die schönen Vesnas stiegen früher auf hölzernen Fahrrädern von ihren Palästen auf den Berggipfeln herab, sangen und diskutierten über das Schicksal der Menschen und der Ernten. Sie parkten ihre Fahrräder auf speziellen Holzböcken, die noch heute ihren Namen tragen.
